WELCOMING SPEECH BY THE CHIEF OF THE COMMITTEE

Glory be to Allah, the God who creates human beings and teacher them languages. May peace be always on the Meseenger of Allah, the noblest human being, the teacher of all people. He is a chosen prophet who has the most fluent tongue. May Allah bless him, his family, his companions, and all people who follow his teachings and consistently propaget Islam.

In the Noble Quran, Allah Says:

"We habe sent it down as an Arabic Quran, in order that ye may learn wisdom". (QS. Yusuf:2)

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

On This good occasion, I'm reallly honored to address you on behalf of the chief of the committe of this proggram. In relation with this, we say thanks to the dean assistant III who handles students'affairs. He is never tired to give us his guidance and valuable advices for the implementation of this program. Beside, we also say gratitude to all staffs of the committee who are responsible for the execution of this valuable program. May Allah give many benefits to you. In addition, we also congratulate all participants who join this speech training program. You have to know that this program is a golden chance for you to improve your Arabic proficiency and skill. Therefore, you must seriously take advantage of this valuable program.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

We need to reconfirm here that this program is to help you improve your Arabic language proficiency, and to encourage you to love, learn, and practice this language. Tis, once again, please take advantage of this program and get the golden chance. However to get more optimal result, you must be well-prepared both in terms of your texts and physical performance. you must have a firm will to be an excellent orator who has the ability to voice the truth eloquently and clearly. You have to know, however, that only the people with strong faith can deliver a speech that can touch the heart of the audiene.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen.

We should know that Arabic language is the language of the Noble Qur'an and the Hadith of Rasulullah SAW. Since Arabic language has been the source language of Islam and other disciplines, Arabic language now becomes not only the language of the Arabs but also the language of all muslims. whatever the color, tribe, and nation of the people, as long as they are muslims, Arabic is their language. Since the emergence of Islam until nowdays, this language has become a world language. therefore we, as the muslim, have to be proud of this language. Moreover, Arabic language has become the language of the Holy Qu'ran and Hadist of Muhammad SAW.

Rasulullah SAW said.

"Love Arabic language becouse of three reasons. I am an Arab, Quran is in Arabic language, and the language of the heaven dwellers is Arabic".

The leader of muslims, Umar bin Khattab ra, also had said about Arabic language. He said,"Learn thoroughly Arabic language becouse it is part of your religion".

Finally, may Allah pour his blessings on the valuable program and always give us his guidance. and may all aur acts still be consistent with what we say. Amin.
